Tell the truth right from the start,
not before things fall apart.
Share your fears without the lies,
all you keep behind your eyes.
Where you've failed and every wish,
your misfortunes and your bliss.
Tell it all so they will see,
who you are and hope to be.
Seek the courage to be true,
find the heart to see it through.
Break the wall down day by day,
some will go and some will stay.
Know the truth won't always set you free,
and what is meant to be, is meant to be,
but you are the keeper of the key.
